Description: This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the production of interactive projects such as resources, schedules, estimates, and budget, as well as being the liaison between the creative department and the rest of the agency. This position reports to the Creative Director.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to:
Acting as conduit for all projects and information entering and leaving the Creative Services Department
Monitoring daily workflow in order to ensure all jobs are on track
Assigning and distributing work, and managing deadlines for internal staff as well as vendors
Assessing manpower needs for projects and provide support in obtaining freelance labor
Establishing and enforcing internal quality control
Assisting in the proofreading/QA?ing of work coming from Creative Department, making sure that projects are accurate and complete
Maintaining relationships with outside vendors, including programmers, proofreaders, production artists, among others, and arranging for their services when necessary
Creating estimates for all creative projects
Managing and tracking the budget throughout the duration of the project
Scheduling all projects - managing deadlines, meetings and project milestones
Overseeing department traffic - distributing work/change orders and coordinating all projects with appropriate staff
Managing and planning department resourcing
Working with the project team to create detailed and accurate scopes of work
Managing project scope, including identifying issues and changes to project timeline and budget
Facilitating internal kick off and review meetings, and establishing task items for members of team
Conducting weekly status meetings with the entire agency
Keeping the project team informed on specific and overall progress
Ensuring internal process is being followed
Working with team to ensure that all projects in Clients and Profits database contain correct and up to date information (deadlines, budget changes, descriptions, etc)
Conducting client communication via telephone and email, responding to inquiries and client requests as necessary
Establishing and maintaining files according to agency procedures
Monitoring agency software and hardware usage and reporting issues to the Creative Director immediately
Being proactive in pursuing additional project work where appropriate
Traveling to client site for meetings
Completing any and all other responsibilities as directed by company management Supervisory
Required Skills/Knowledge/Attributes
Online advertising experience and understanding of interactive media
Understanding of front-end and back-end design and development technologies
Must possess motivation/facilitation skills and problem solving/logistical skills
Knowledge of project management software (Clients and Profits, Creative Manager and/or Microsoft Project)
Must possess strong organizational skills and be self motivated
Well-organized and detail-oriented
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal/written communication skills
