The Special Edition exclusively supports MySQL, the world's most popular open-source database for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.

Clients & Profits Pro for MySQL offers clients/server performance previously available only to users of Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, but at a fraction of the cost. MySQL is a fast, lightweight alternative to enterprise-level SQL databases by Microsoft and Oracle and has a large, supportive user community.
