CLIENTS & PROFITS HIGHLIGHTED IN JUNE AD AGENCY INSIDER
19-person agency in Tennessee uses Clients & Profits to tame runaway growth
June 1, 1999 -- OCEANSIDE, CA -- Clients & Profits was the focus of a cover story on runaway growth in this month's AD AGENCY INSIDER newsletter. AD AGENCY INSIDER is a new publication devoted to what's new and what's working for growing advertising agencies.
The management article highlighted how ddN, a Clients & Profits user in Chattanooga, Tenn. handled growing pains caused by doubling in size every two years. The article described how Danny Feel, the agency's partner, was able to boost profitability by 50% by improving their traffic system, capture more billable time, and focus the partners on client-related work and new development.
David C. Baker, a well-known agency management consultant, and his company, ReCourses, helped ddN meet the challenge of rapid growth. With his guidance, the shop replaced a collection of software with Clients & Profits. With the new system, Fell said, the agency's schedules work better. Fell says the agency now tracks all phases of projects, which they were unable to do with their previous system.
AD AGENCY INSIDER is published monthly by Infocom Group of Emeryville, CA. Subscriptions cost $449 per year. Infocom can be reached at (800) 959-1059.
