View who’s online, who’s not, and where they were last working in Clients & Profits using the Who’s Connected window. You can even log off connected users with one click Basically a control center for the System Manager, the Who's Connected window allows you to email any user, log users off directly, and print a complete list of active and inactive users of your Clients & Profits database. By default, each user is listed alphabetically by name. To view the list by Department, IP address, last login date, etc, simply click on the header for that category and the window will automatically sort users however you wish. To send an email to a user, select the user from the list, then click the Send Email button. This will bring up a prompt to send a quick email to that user. You can log any connected user off of Clients & Profits anytime by simply selecting the user from the list, then clicking the Log off selected users button. This is especially handy when you need to perform maintenance, install updates, or back up your C&P Database. The user will receive an alert at their workstation that they will be logged out of C&P in 5 minutes. Logging out users is particularly useful when a user leaves for the day and forgets to log out of C&P themselves, which may adversely affect other users from logging into the program if you have reached your maximum number of concurrent connections. Click the Print List button to print a complete list of Clients & Profits Users, when they were last connected, for how long, and what area of Clients & Profits they were last using. The number of users you are presently licensed to use Clients & Profits concurrently is listed at the top of the window. Once you have reached the maximum number of connections, users attempting to log into the software will be denied access.
