Where can I customize a user's Information Center?



Q. I have a job ticket that was added with a job type/spec sheet. Can I add additional tasks?

A. Yes. Choose Edit > Add new job tasks.   

Q. Can I delete several tasks on a job ticket?

A. Tasks without costs or billings can be deleted. Choose Edit > Delete selected tasks. 

Q. Must all job type/spec sheets have the same milestone defaults?

A. No. Each job type/spec sheet can have its own customized milestones. Choose Setup > Job Type/Spec Sheets > Milestones.

Q. On the first of the month, the accounting period changes. Where can I set the new accounting period default?

A. Choose Setup > Preferences > Accounting Periods.

Q. Can I still work and post in a prior accounting period?

A. Yes. Unlocked prior accounting periods can have data added to them. As you're adding the transaction, use the pull down menu and select a prior period.  

Q. Where can I customize a user's Information Center?

A. Choose Setup > Users, Access and Passwords. Highlight the user's name. Click on customize information center. 


Q. A staff member has a name change. How can I change their log in initials?

A. Choose Setup > Utilities > Renumber > Staff member. Add the current initials and then the ones that you wish to change to.
