How can I limit the number of job tickets that are printing on job
reports?

Q. Can a job number be changed after a job has been added?
A. Yes. Choose Setup > Utilities > Re-number. From the re-number pop-up menu, select Job Number. You will then add the current job number and the one that you want to change it to.
Q. Can the client on a job ticket be changed?
A. Yes. Choose Setup > Utilities > Re-number. From the pop-up menu, select One job's client. Add the job number. Then add the client that you want to change to.
Q. Is tabbing really necessary?
A. Yes. Tabbing through all fields is C&P's way of error checking and forming the correct calculations.
Q. What is the correct procedure for a system manager to edit a user's access in Clients & Profits?
A. A user should not be in C&P while their access is being edited. A System Manager should edit the access as needed.
Q. How can a System Manager be sure that a User has the correct access?
A. A System Manager should log in as a User to test the access.
Q. How can I limit the number of job tickets that are printing on job reports?
A. Be sure to edit the status code range to only the jobs that you want to see.![]()
Q. Will unposted A/P and A/R invoices print on accounting reports?
A. No. Only posted invoices print on all reports (except the proof list).![]()

A. Yes. It is a good idea to print a proof list first to check for any data entry errors before posting.![]()
Q. If a job ticket has been added with a job type/spec sheet, can I add additional tasks that were not included on the job template?
A. Yes. While on a job ticket, click on the add tasks toolbar button. It will take you to a window to add additional tasks.![]()
Q. Can I edit the next A/R invoice number?
A. Yes. Choose Setup > Preferences > Accounting. The next A/R invoice number can be edited there.![]()
