TIME
CARDS VS. TIME SHEETS |

|
The Time Card is completely accessible, yet tightly controls what a staff member can see and do. Unlike the Time Sheet, they can't add new tasks to job tickets or see cost and billing rates. Plus, time cards always show the staff member what they've done during the day. They can open the Time Card while they're working in Quark, Photoshop, and other programs, enter the job and task they're working on, then let the built-in stopwatch track their time. |

The Time Sheet is designed for flexibility. There's little someone can't do from a time sheet, such as adding new job tasks, tailoring a billing rate on-the-spot, and entering time for many days at once. This makes the time sheet the ideal place to enter time for people who don't use Clients & Profits all day. Different staff members can share the same Clients & Profits workstation to enter their time by taking turns during the week. This way, you can eliminate the paper time slip-and expensive double-entry. |
