In the late 1980s people were so
desperate to find software
for their new SE/30s
and Mac IIs that getting
free advertising was
easy. And getting publicity
was a snap because every
new upgrade was anxiously
awaited.

Clients & Profits 1 is developed for a small agency in Los Angeles as an in-house job management system.
January, 1987
Clients & Profits 2 ships at the MacWorld Expo in San Francisco. Features basic job tickets, job costing, and client billing, but no general ledger.
April, 1988
Clients & Profits 3 ships. Includes a general ledger, financial reports, and purchase orders.
May, 1988
Multi-user Clients & Profits 3 ships.
November, 1988
The 100th Clients & Profits program ships.
