The new-user Clients & Profits training class presents a comprehensive overview of the new Clients & Profits software, including job tickets, estimating and scheduling, job costing and billing, and financial accounting.

The Clients & Profits new user training class has been developed and refined for over 10 years. In fact, nearly 1000 people (including production managers, traffic coordinators, account executives, media buyers, bookkeepers, controllers, and agency principals) have taken the class since 1990.

The goal is productivity
The objective of the class is to introduce both new (and sometimes not-so-new) users to the essential features, functions, and capabilities of Clients & Profits. The goal of the class is for everyone to leave with a real appreciation for how Clients & Profits manages both the creative side and the business side of your company -- and how that can lead to better productivity, greater productivity, and less stress.

Production vs. accounting
The new user class is evenly split between production and accounting. While it won't turn a production person into an accountant (and vice versa), the class is intentionally designed to help the creative side and the business side of your company work together.

In only two fast-moving days you'll learn to:

-- open a new job ticket
-- create and print an estimate
-- schedule a job's tasks
-- traffic a job's deadlines and milestones
-- write a purchase order
-- add job costs from vendors
-- track time using the pop-up Time Card
-- enter in-house expenses and charges
-- bill a client for a job's costs
-- manage client accounts and account balances

The first day focuses on job tickets, including estimating and traffic. The second day is devoted to client billing and financial accounting. Students will leave the class with a solid view of the "big picture" to help them better use Clients & Profits.

Who should attend?
Anyone who works with clients, jobs, costs, media, or billings. The truth is that everyone in the shop would benefit from knowing more about production and accounting, especially:

-- account executives and supervisors
-- account supervisors
-- creatives who handle production
-- production managers
-- traffic coordinators
-- media buyers
-- bookkeepers and controllers
-- CFOs, CEOs, and agency principals

The new user class is also ideal for beginners who are new to the advertising and design industry. Small class sizes (limited to 10-12 participants) let the trainers tailor each class to the needs and experience of the group. This makes for a highly responsive and memorable learning experience for the attendees.

The class material is designed to be fast-moving and interesting, using real-world examples and experiences to best illustrate a process or a concept. It's engaging, with lots of give-and-take from the trainers and the participants. The classes are intentionally informal and open to allow for interaction on any topic.
