TMP WORLDWIDE CHOOSES CLIENTS & PROFITS SQL TO MANAGE CREATIVE CENTERS
SQL Server 7-based system automates workflow for 25 U.S. creative offices
July 1, 2001 -- OCEANSIDE, CA -- Clients & Profits, Inc. announced today that TMP Worldwide (Nasdaq: TMPW), the worlds largest recruitment advertising agency, selected its Clients & Profit SQL software to manage the work flow, time keeping, and job costing for 25 of its U.S. creative offices.
Clients & Profits SQL is a new client/server version of Clients & Profits Pro, the best-selling job tracking, costing, billing, and accounting system for the advertising and marketing community. The software uses Oracle8 or Microsoft SQL Server 7 as a back-end database, enabling Clients & Profits SQL to support large agencies with multiple locations.
We chose Clients & Profits SQL because it is a complete package that met all of creative offices operational and functional needs, according to Don Shapiro, TMP Worldwides Director of Operations.
The company evaluated several off-the-shelf production and accounting systems, and even considered custom applications, to replace their existing Job Central software. The creative staff was so impressed with the Clients & Profits capabilities and ease of use, according to Shapiro, that they requested that the remaining software demos be canceled. From the start, he says, Clients & Profits SQL has been a tremendous hit.
With six creative hubs managing 25 U.S. offices, over 600 TMP Worldwide staff members will use Clients & Profits SQL to open jobs, enter time, track costs, and bill clients from any location. TMP Worldwide is also implementing the My Clients & Profits! web server to offer real-time access to clients, jobs, and more from any web browser. Clients & Profits SQL will provide quick access to job data while giving managers a comprehensive perspective of the corporations revenue stream.
In the end, they decided on Clients & Profits SQL because of the people at the company, Shapiro says. We were impressed with their professionalism, knowledge of the product, and responsiveness. Even though theyve only been using Clients & Profits SQL for a few months, it has been a tremendous hit with the end users, Shapiro says. They love it and are constantly praising it.
